FAQ

General FAQs

Fill in an enquiry form from the contact us section and a member of our team will be in touch to discuss how you can start to improve your workforce’s mental health.

Encourage your employee to access appropriate mental health support.  In the UK this is available by GP or self-referrals to NHS mental health services.  Alternatively call 111 for advice.

If the situation is considered highly urgent and there is a risk of self-harm or suicide call 999 for assistance.

The ‘Psychological Resilience When Overwhelmed’ programme is not an alternative for mental health support.  If the user experiences any distress during the sessions, they are encouraged to stop immediately, and access appropriate support.

If you are not based in the UK, please contact a local mental health professional for guidance.

Thrive in Mind will raise an invoice which will be emailed to you.  It will contain details for bank transfer payments.

Programme FAQs

We want the user to have the best experience of the programme so have deliberately set it up to run on bigger screens which currently excludes smart phones.  The programme will operate best on tablets, PCs and Laptops. It is important that the content is accessed in this manner so that it can be displayed properly, especially the more detailed sections. It can be used across Apple and Microsoft devices.

The programme is based on decades of psychological theory and research.  The interventions are evidenced to be effective with people experiencing mild to moderate symptoms.

Users of the programme have found it has helped them to understand their mental health and learn new and effective ways of coping.

Encourage the user to schedule dates and times they would like to complete each of the 4 sessions in their diary so that it is booked in advance.

It is advised the user completes the programme in a private and quiet environment and completes each session in a full sitting.

The programme can only be effective if the user practices the coping skills and reflects on new learning.  The user is encouraged to take notes, practice the home tasks regularly and replay past modules so that it stays fresh in mind.

Once you have ordered the programme you will be emailed access to our programme allocation page.  This will enable you to enter your employee’s name and email which will give them immediate access.

Clinical evidence shows that people achieve the best outcomes when they are able to reflect on new learning and practice their newly acquired skills.   We have replicated aspects of the therapy model that we use with clients every day and have placed deliberate gaps between sessions to enable time for between session practice of these skills.  Practice is a key part of bringing about the change you want to see.

It is important that the user’s confidentiality is maintained at all times.  Neither yourself nor Thrive in Mind Ltd will have any access to any of the written information the user inputs during the programme. This allows the user to know that their privacy is protected and to feel safe to fully engage in the programme.

From the ‘Programme Allocation Page’ you will be able to see if the user has started the programme (indicated as active) or is yet to start the programme (indicated as in-active). See privacy policy

Group FAQs

Groups should ideally meet in person at your workplace, but remote meetings are also an option.

The groups can contain between 6 and 20 participants.

There is something in the groups for everyone; however, the groups are leader-focused. The groups will explore the impact of mental health in the workplace and ways to improve employee mental well-being. The groups would be most beneficial for managers, directors, HR teams, well-being officers, mental health first aiders, and occupational health staff.

Participants will not be expected to share any personal information.

The group works best when everyone contributes fully with discussions and exercises.

Information disclosed to the group will not be shared outside of the group.

No references will be made to anyone who is not in the group.

Participants must arrive on time and remain for the duration of the group.

Please provide a room big enough to accommodate the participants.

A projector and screen would be important but not essential.

Please can participants bring a pad and paper (to take notes).

Thrive in Mind will provide the participants with handouts and copies of the power point material

Thrive in Mind will require a week’s notice for rearrangement or cancellation of the group. Shorter notice would lead to a loss of payment and a new invoice being issued.
