Why early intervention matters

Many people wait until stress becomes unmanageable to ask for help. Our clinics offer support much earlier — giving employees a confidential space to talk, gain practical tools, and find their next step.
For employers, this means fewer stress-related issues, clearer support pathways, and anonymised insights to help strengthen your wellbeing culture.

Frequently asked questions

Thrive in Mind Well-being Clinics are confidential, one-on-one sessions where employees can discuss personal or work-related challenges with a trained mental health professional. Each session runs between 40 to 60 minutes and is an opportunity to receive practical advice and support to manage stress and build resilience.

All sessions are conducted by registered mental health nurses or accredited psychotherapists, ensuring that employees receive professional, compassionate support.

Yes, all sessions are fully confidential, and personal details are never shared with employers. Instead, employers receive only generalised feedback that highlights common themes, such as workload balance or communication challenges, helping improve the work environment without compromising individual privacy.

If demand exceeds available sessions, we’ll inform the employer, who then has the option to purchase an additional clinic block. We recommend scheduling clinics flexibly to ensure all staff have access to sessions.

Yes sessions are available remotely across the UK for maximum accessibility, and we also offer face-to-face clinics for organisations based in Yorkshire. If employees are joining a remote session from the workplace, we recommend providing a private space to ensure confidentiality and comfort.

No refunds are available for unused clinic blocks. For one-off purchases, quarterly, or biannual subscriptions, all sessions must be used within the agreed time frame. Clinic blocks will not carry over outside of this period.

No, Wellbeing Clinics are not therapy. They are designed to provide immediate support, practical guidance, and signposting to helpful resources rather than long-term therapeutic care.

The Wellbeing Clinics are intended as one-off or occasional support sessions, with each employee typically attending a maximum of 1-3 times per year. This helps employees address immediate challenges without creating reliance on the service.

Employees who are navigating workplace or personal transitions can greatly benefit from these clinics. This includes individuals dealing with changes such as returning from extended leave, managing a new role, preparing for retirement, or adapting to organisational restructuring. The clinics are also valuable for those experiencing workplace challenges, like heightened stress or adjusting after illness or injury. Referrals can provide these employees with the professional, one-to-one support they need to build resilience and thrive during periods of change.
