Get Started with Therapy at Thrive in Mind
The process is simple and designed to ensure the right level of support for each individual. Once a session is purchased, we’ll arrange the first appointment directly with the client. This initial session allows us to explore their needs and determine the best way forward.
Following this, we’ll provide a recommendation for ongoing support, typically in blocks of six sessions. Each session lasts one hour and remains completely confidential between the therapist and the client.

Before starting therapy, you will have an initial 60-minute assessment, where we will discuss your needs and goals. This will help determine whether therapy is the right approach for you.
If an employer purchases 6 sessions but only 4 are used, the remaining 2 sessions can be allocated to assess other employees who may benefit from support.
Sessions are 60 minutes long and delivered remotely via a secure, confidential platform.
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments without notice may be charged in full.
Weekly sessions are the norm, as regular therapy leads to better outcomes. Your therapist will work with you to find a convenient time that fits your schedule.

Yes, if you decide you’d like structured support, you can upgrade to a 6 or 12-session package at any time.

If your sessions are employer-funded, only attendance and general themes (not personal details) may be shared with your employer.
